Who we are

Dream Replies is a service by Frederic Van Cauwenberghe, a self-employed business in Portugal. You can reach us at hello@dreamreplies.com.

This website and the waiting list

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. If you join the waiting list, we store your email address, what you make (if you tell us) and the date you joined. We use them only to tell you about Dream Replies and to invite you when there is room. You can leave the list at any time by writing to us. We keep your details until you leave the list or until the waiting list closes. They are stored with Cloudflare in the European Union.

The service: whose data and why

Businesses use Dream Replies to answer the people who contact them. When a business connects its Instagram account through Meta's official API, we receive:

We use this only to show the business its conversations in one place and to prepare reply drafts. A person at the business reads every draft, can change it, and decides whether to send it. Nothing is ever sent automatically.

For the people who write to a business, that business decides how their data is used (it is the controller). Dream Replies handles the data on the business's behalf and under its instructions (we are the processor).

Who helps us

Where these providers process data outside the European Union, they do so under their data processing terms, which include the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

What we never do

How long we keep it

We keep a business's conversations as long as the business uses Dream Replies. We delete them within 30 days after it stops, or sooner on request.

Your rights, and how to delete your data

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you. If you wrote to a business that uses Dream Replies, you can ask that business, or write to us at hello@dreamreplies.com with your Instagram username. We delete your data within 30 days and confirm when it is done. You also have the right to complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, the CNPD (cnpd.pt).

Changes

If this policy changes, we update it here and change the date at the top.
